Aries Equinox: Things are heating up!

A new astrological year has begun.

The sun has just entered Aries, the first sign of the zodiac. This begins a new zodiac cycle and a new astrological year.

This is the Aries equinox, also called the spring equinox, and it is a marked time of new beginnings. Winter is over and things are heating up!

Aries represents beginnings, initiation and outgoing energy. Ruled by the planet Mars, it brings “doing” energy.

It’s a good time to undertake an endeavor or to take the next step in something you are pursuing, or to just get stuff done. Aries brings the zest and motivation for action.

Also a time to watch out for impulsive actions and reactive decisions. Mars, the ruler of Aries, is squaring the moon today, so emotions need to be dealt with carefully, otherwise there may be angry reactions or hasty conclusions.
