The Full Moon in Aries on October 9th was a timely one. It came just as some planets start to turn direct in October, after a period of retrograde.

There have been a lot of planets retrograde during the past months.

These include:

• Saturn

• Pluto

• Neptune

• Uranus

• Mercury

• Jupiter

With so many planets retrograde in the past few months, there may have been a period of adjusting, learning, improving or changing your approach, and recalibrating.

During October, quick-moving Mercury and two heavy-weight planets turn direct.

• Mercury turned direct on October 2nd

• Pluto turned direct on October 8th, just before the Full Moon

• Saturn turns direct on October 23rd

The Full Moon in Aries at this time can signify a new cycle beginning as these planets turn direct. This can bring about more forward-moving energy (even though three planets continue to be retrograde) or a renewed energy or a new approach, based on the adjusting of the past few months.

What’s more, the Full Moon in Aries was conjunct the asteroid Chiron, which is to do with healing. This could represent healing or a release of some kind that comes into being at the culmination of this cycle, paving the way for a fresh approach.
